Bronko Nagurski Award

Bronko Nagurski Award

The Bronko Nagurski Trophy has been awarded annually since 1993 to the Collegiate Footballer rated by members of the Football Writers' Union Association of America (FWAA) to be the best defense in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the prize is awarded by Charlotte Touchdown Club and the FWAA. The award is named Bronko Nagurski, who played football at the University of Minnesota and Chicago Bears.

Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh had a tough couple of days, a loss in the last second in the championship game of the Big 12 with the loss of their luggage on their way to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy banquet.

Suh Behind came just in time on Monday at slip in his dark suit and shiny black shoes, learn that he was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, and then win the Nagurski defensive player as the top nation.

Nominations for the 2010 Grammy Awards announced at a special concert broadcast live on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. The Grammy nominations Concert Live! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night Special show on CBS at 9 EST. LL Cool J hosted the one hour program, which featured live performances from Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell, Nick Jonas and Sugarland. Speakers include Linkin Park, George Lopez, Ringo Starr, Katy Perry and Smokey Robinson.

Beyonce achieved, with a total of 10 nominations, including Album of the Year by I Am ... Sasha Fierce. He also received nominations for Song of the Year for "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" and Record Of The Year for "Halo".

"Taylor Swift was nominated in eight categories, including album of the Fed, and Lady Gaga received five nominations, including several of her single" Poker Face ".

International Press Academy (IPA) announced their nominations for the 14th Annual Satellite Awards on Sunday, and as in previous years, the impressive list is a mix of names with great Oscar rumors and left-field opportunities. For one, participants who Jeremy Renner ( "The Hurt Locker"), Colin Firth ( "One"), Meryl Streep ( "Julie and Julia"), Mo'Nique ( "Precious"), and Anna Kendrick ( "On Air" ) included in the categories of quality, drama, film, comedy and animation / mixed media slots are also filled with the images we have come to assume will compete for the Academy Awards - "Precious" "Nine," "The Hurt Locker . This is the case, and the satellite 10 best films of 2009, which is independent of sex and individual prices - also here is "Hurt Locker," "Nine" and others. We even see satellites take a page directly from the Oscar prize for Roger Corman Auteur this year's Award.
