Bronko Nagurski Award

The Bronko Nagurski Trophy has been awarded annually since 1993 to the Collegiate Footballer rated by members of the Football Writers' Union Association of America (FWAA) to be the best defense in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the prize is awarded by Charlotte Touchdown Club and the FWAA. The award is named Bronko Nagurski, who played football at the University of Minnesota and Chicago Bears.

Grammy Awards 2009

Nominations for the 2010 Grammy Awards announced at a special concert broadcast live on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. The Grammy nominations Concert Live! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night Special show on CBS at 9 EST. A handful of young actresses hit the red carpet last night to celebrate the grand opening of the new flagship of American Eagle in New York. The audience was well represented Gossip Girl with Leighton Meester cozying up with Michelle Trachtenberg and Jessica Szohr. Adrian Grenier, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz also went to browse the offerings in the new space in Times Square. Ashlee was able to see the man in the DJ booth Pete between trials in Chicago and her sister Jessica received "chillibumps" just like Ash's Broadway debut.

Pete was not only entertainment at night - Leighton Meester wore a pair of leggings kaleidoscopic perform four songs, including their single "Somebody to Love". You are not sure what to do with racier styles of Leighton, but it really threw everything on performance. Good things seem to go through American Eagle, and seems to have already recruited more than a few famous fans.
